It supplements our Privacy Policy. We use a notice-only consent model: analytics cookies may be set when you visit the site, and a banner informs you of this. You can opt out at any time using the controls described below.
2. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow us to recognise your device across page loads, maintain your session while you are logged in to Mugafi, store your preferences, and measure how writers navigate the platform. We also use related technologies such as localStorage for certain editor-state preferences.

Mugafi operates a notice-only consent model. When you visit the site, a banner informs you that analytics cookies are active. Strictly necessary cookies (session and CSRF) are set without your opt-in because they are required for the platform to function. 5. Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies are set by third-party service providers acting on our behalf, primarily our analytics tool. We have data processing agreements with these providers that limit their use of data to providing services to us. We do not permit any third-party advertising or tracking pixels that would share your data with ad networks.
6. Global Privacy Control
If your browser transmits a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal indicating a preference against data sale or tracking, our cookie banner script detects this and suppresses analytics cookie initialisation regardless of any prior dismissal. We do not sell personal data; the GPC signal is honoured as an analytics opt-out.
